Job summary

Hitachi Energy Czech Republic S.R.O. is seeking a corporate development professional to manage multiple transactions across the M&A lifecycle. You will build financial models, perform valuations, and lead cross-functional due diligence with global stakeholders.

The role requires significant experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or strategy consulting, with a bachelor's in Finance/economics and strong modeling skills. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting or a transaction-focused role.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related analytical discipline.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis skills.
• Experience managing several projects at different stages of the deal lifecycle and working with stakeholders globally.
• Sound commercial judgement, strategic thinking and the ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple transactions and strategic projects across the M&A lifecycle.
• Build financial models and valuations, including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions and LBO analysis.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence with Finance, Legal, HR, IT and Operations, translating findings into clear risks and recommendations.
• Conduct market, competitor and technology-sector analysis to support investment decisions.
• Prepare business cases and proposals for senior leadership and board-level approval.
• Build strong relationships with global stakeholders, investment banks, consultants and other external advisers.
