Job summary

Hitachi is seeking a seasoned professional for its Corporate Development team within the DEAI group. You will manage transactions across the M&A lifecycle, combining rigorous financial analysis with cross-functional leadership and senior stakeholder engagement.

Ideal candidates have experience in corporate development or related fields such as private equity or investment banking, with strong modelling and valuation skills and the ability to influence senior leaders across global teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate development or related transaction-focused roles.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis skills.
• Experience coordinating with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple transactions across the M&A lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence with Finance, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
• Build financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, comps, precedent, LBO).
• Prepare business cases and board-ready proposals.
• Engage with global investment banks, consultants and other advisers.
