Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to support strategic decision making and growth initiatives across the organization. You will deliver market insights, financial analyses, and investment evaluations for acquisitions, joint ventures, minority investments, and other growth options.

The role involves coordinating with executive leadership, business units, and regions to assess strategic fit, value potential, and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work in the United States.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in market, customer, competitor, financial, or strategic assessment.
• Background in corporate development, strategy, consulting, business development, investment assessment, venture capital, private equity, or M&A preferred.
• Strong financial assessment, Excel modeling, PowerPoint, research and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic decision making and growth initiatives by delivering insights on markets, customers, competitors, and industry trends.
• Lead workstreams on investment opportunities including acquisitions, joint ventures, minority investments, venture investments and other growth options.
• Prepare executive-ready materials for the Board and Executive Committee discussions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders in a global organization.
