Job summary

Hitachi seeks a corporate development professional to drive strategic transactions across a global technology business. You will lead cross-functional due diligence and build rigorous financial models to support investment decisions.

Working across the full deal lifecycle, you will engage with senior leadership, coordinate with Finance, Legal, HR and IT, and help shape growth initiatives for Hitachi Digital and related entities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, strategy consulting or a transaction-focused role.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis skills.
• Experience managing several projects at different stages of the deal lifecycle and working with stakeholders globally.
• MBA or technology/IT services familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple transactions and strategic projects across the M&A lifecycle.
• Build financial models and valuations, including DCF, comparables, precedents and LBO analysis.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence with Finance, Legal, HR, IT and Operations, translating findings into risks and recommendations.
• Conduct market, competitor and technology-sector analysis to support investment decisions.
• Prepare business cases and proposals for senior leadership and board-level approval.
• Build relationships with global stakeholders, investment banks, consultants and other advisers.
