Job summary

Blue Origin's Lunar Core Components team seeks a Senior Manager of the Deployable Structures and Separation Systems to lead product-focused groups developing critical lunar hardware. Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams and developing aerospace structures.
• 8+ years in full lifecycle development of aerospace structures or mechanisms.
• Experience in requirements definition, design, integration, verification and qualification, commissioning, and operation.
• Resource management experience leading staffing, budget, and schedule.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and control the subsystem technical baseline, performing technical work and providing technical leadership of the highest caliber.
• Define, own, and control the subsystem cost and schedule baseline, driving continuous improvement and refinement of the baseline to meet needs and targets in a dynamic development environment.
• Manage a team of engineers to specify, design, analyze, manufacture, integrate, test, and deliver hardware and software components that satisfy mission objectives while balancing cost, schedule, and risk.
• Manage external procurements and internal hardware dependencies required to meet subsystem deliveries.
• Manage your direct reports’ professional development and coach them on performance.
• Drive excellence in programmatic and project operations through data-driven management approach.
