Blue Origin in Van Horn, TX is seeking a senior aerospace engineering leader to define and own subsystem baselines, lead a team, and drive cost-schedule performance on space hardware for the Blue Moon lunar program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years in full lifecycle development of aerospace structures or mechanisms.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams and cross-functional groups.
• Experience with requirement definition, design, implementation, integration, verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and control subsystem baselines for technical, cost, and schedule.
• Lead a team of engineers to design, analyze, manufacture, integrate, test, and deliver hardware and software components.
• Direct procurements and manage internal hardware dependencies to meet deliveries.
• Develop reports and coach staff on performance and career development.
• Drive data-driven program and project management across the subsystem.
