Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Manager for the Deployable Structures and Separation Systems within the Lunar Core Components group. The role leads technical teams responsible for developing, building, and testing hardware essential to lunar missions.

You will oversee requirements, design, verification, and integration activities, managing schedules and budgets while guiding career development of engineers.

Qualifications

• Lead technical teams and deliverables across aerospace structures and mechanisms.
• 8+ years in full lifecycle development of aerospace structures and/or mechanisms.
• Experience in requirement definition, design, integration, and verification/validation.
• Experience managing staffing, budgets, and schedules in multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own subsystem baseline (technical, cost, and schedule).
• Lead a team of engineers to specify, design, manufacture, integrate, test, and deliver hardware/software.
• Manage external procurements and internal dependencies to meet deliveries.
• Oversee professional development and coaching of direct reports.
• Drive data-driven program management and operational excellence.
• Collaborate across teams to achieve mission objectives within cost and schedule constraints.
