Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced engineering leader to define and own the subsystem baselines, lead a team of engineers, and manage cost and schedule within a dynamic lunar program. You will oversee hardware and software deliveries, coordinate procurements, and mentor staff while driving rigorous, data‑driven program management.

Qualifications

• Lead and mentor technical teams and functional groups.
• 8+ years of aerospace structures and/or mechanisms lifecycle experience.
• Experience in requirement definition, design, implementation, integration, verification and validation, qualification, commissioning, and operation.
• Resource management for staffing, budget, and schedule on multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and control the subsystem technical baseline and lead technical work.
• Define and control cost and schedule baseline to meet dynamic development needs.
• Manage a team of engineers delivering hardware and software components for mission objectives.
• Oversee external procurements and internal hardware dependencies for deliveries.
• Coach direct reports on performance and development.
• Drive data‑driven program management across the project.
