Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Sr Manager of Material Flow Engineering (Inbound) to lead the design of a lean, global inbound logistics network. You will guide a team of analysts using PFEP, PFEP, TMS, and SAP to align plans with production calendars and forecast volumes while seeking cost savings and efficient transit.

The role is based in Normal, IL for the first year, with potential relocation to our Georgia facility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in automotive/logistics industry
• Ability to lead a team through ambiguity and drive decisions
• Degree in logistics/data analytics/engineering or supply chain (MBA preferred)
• Experience creating and optimizing logistics plans with carriers and suppliers
• Hands-on experience with TMS, SAP and PFEP
• Ability to travel 20-25%

Responsibilities

• Lead analysts in advanced logistics network design and cost savings
• Maintain lane level plans with PFEP/TMS and SAP alignment
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers and plants to implement plans
• Develop KPIs and monitor shipment execution against plan
• Report inbound freight spend and optimize sourcing locations
