Job summary

Gong is seeking a Senior Manager, GTM Field Operations to own the operating rhythm for a North America Revenue Unit and act as the embedded operational partner across Strategy, RevOps, and Enablement. You will translate plans into field execution, manage forecasts, and guide senior stakeholders with credible, data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes owning end-to-end ops, building scalable processes, and delivering proactive analysis to close gaps.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Sales/Business Operations or GTM Strategy with SaaS experience.
• SQL proficiency and ability to build/standardize reporting in Snowflake and BI tools.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc.
• Experience supporting sales and CS orgs of 100+ reps selling $1M+ deals to Fortune 100.
• Proven success building territory models, forecasting processes, headcount planning.
• Experience applying AI to optimize revenue processes; knowledge of MCP servers and LLM tools.
• Strong organizational and project management; ownership mindset.
• Executive presence; navigate senior stakeholders and high-stakes decisions.
• Track record building VP+ relationships grounded in credibility.
• Comfort delivering unpopular operational decisions with clarity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational contact for your segment's reps, managers, and senior leaders.
• Maintain real-time segment numbers: targets, forecasts, KPIs and top deals/risks.
• Own weekly/monthly forecast, pipeline reviews, deal reviews, QBR prep.
• Coach segment leaders to deliverables; enforce ROE; flag issues to RevOps.
• Partner with Strategy, RevOps, Enablement on headcount, ROE, and tech stack.
• Design reporting dashboards with Analytics/BI; ensure tool adoption.
• Act as Customer Zero for Gong processes in the segment and feed feedback.
• Manage resource stewardship and scalable solutions.
• Build cross-functional relationships; align strategy with GTM goals.
