Job summary

Gong seeks a GTM Compensation Leader to own end-to-end sales compensation strategy, design, and operations across the GTM organization. You will lead a team, own the ICM/SPM platform, and be the primary voice on plan design, exceptions, and compliance.

You will partner with RevOps, Finance, and Field leadership to drive plans that align with the business, scale with growth, and maintain audit-ready controls. Location is NYC/Salt Lake City/Chicago/SF.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a sales compensation team in SaaS/tech.
• Hands-on with ICM/SPM tools (CaptivateIQ, Varicent, Everstage).
• Own end-to-end comp design and operations with finance partnership.
• ASC 606 experience with compensation accounting.
• Strong communication, change mgmt, and field education.

Responsibilities

• Design sales compensation plans across segments (Sales, CS/RA, SDR, Partners, SEs).
• Translate GTM strategy into comp incentives to drive reps’ behavior.
• Collaborate with RevOps, GTM leadership, and Finance on plan priorities.
• Own end-to-end comp operations: credits, calculations, payouts, audits.
• Build governance and exception handling; ensure governance scales.
• Own ICM/SPM platform configuration, roadmap, and vendor relationships.
• Partner with Finance to ensure ASC 606 compliance and audit readiness.
• Lead and develop the sales compensation team; drive scalable model.
