Job summary

Wayground is seeking a Senior Manager for Business Operations and Strategy to join the U.S. K–12 team.

You will shape the operating system, drive strategic planning, and own financial modeling across marketing, sales, and customer success to guide growth and EBITDA decisions. The role requires 6–8 years of high-impact experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of professional experience in high-impact roles, with at least 3 years in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity; additional experience in strategic finance and/or FP&A is a plus.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
• Able to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to shift priorities based on new insights and business needs.
• Able to think critically about problems and priorities and willing to question the status quo.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passionate about making an impact on global learners.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the GTM Operating System, defining KPI ownership and OKRs across GTM roles.
• Lead strategic planning to inform resource allocation, headcount, compensation, and investments.
• Own GTM financial modeling and forecasting across marketing, sales, and customer success.
• Develop financial systems, cadence, and processes for clear accountability across P&Ls.
• Lead ad-hoc financial analysis to support commercial leadership.
