Job summary

Blue Shield of California seeks a Senior Manager, Group Implementation to lead a team of Implementation Consultants and Specialists. You will oversee onboarding for ASO, Shared Advantage, and Fully Insured groups while driving simplification, automation, and AI-enabled improvements across implementation processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Requires 8 years of prior relevant experience
• Requires 4 years of prior people management experience with direct responsibility for supervising, coaching, and evaluating direct reports
• Requires subject matter expert level knowledge of large complex health insurance employer group implementations and cross-functional work with Sales/Account Management teams, brokerages and consulting houses
• Requires ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences including C-Suite and large group settings
• Requires ability to influence others using data and market practices across large cross-functional initiatives
• Requires expertise in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with Salesforce and Tableau for reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Implementation Consultants and Specialists responsible for onboarding groups with ASO, Shared Advantage, and Fully Insured funding types
• Drive simplification, automation, and AI enhancements to improve implementation quality, efficiency, and capacity
• Collaborate across Sales, Account Management, Brokerages, and Consulting to ensure successful implementations
• Present complex concepts and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders with data-driven insights
