Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Manager in the Financial and Regulatory Reporting Team to oversee regulatory filings and financial reporting for mutual funds and ETFs. You will manage third-party administrators, ensure timely filings, and partner with Legal, Portfolio Management, and other partners to support new product initiatives.

The role requires strong knowledge of SEC forms (N-CSR, N-PORT, N-CEN) and experience with iXBRL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in mutual funds regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SEC filings for funds (N-CSR, N-PORT, N-CEN).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and authorize fund filings including SEC Forms N-CSR, N-CSR iXBRL, N-1A, 24f-2, and 17f-2.
• Prepare and review financial statements for registered funds and ETFs.
• Support additional filings such as N-MFP, N-PORT, and N-CEN.
• Lead and optimize reviews of shareholder reports and holdings with third-party fund administrators.
• Coordinate schedules with internal and external partners for filings and reviews.
• Identify process improvements and drive automation in regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with SAM Fund Administration, Legal and Portfolio Management teams.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and communicate impact to leadership.
