Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Manager to support Schwab Asset Management's Financial and Regulatory Reporting Team. You will oversee third‑party administrators and ensure timely, accurate regulatory filings, reporting to the Director People Leader.

You will coordinate filings (N-CSR, N‑PORT, N‑MFP, etc.) and drive process improvements, collaborating with senior management to implement regulatory changes and enhance reporting quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree mandatory in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Minimum 6 years of experience administering mutual funds, including financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory filings and financial reporting requirements for mutual funds and ETFs, including SEC forms N-CSR, N‑1A, 24f-2, 17f‑2, and N‑PORT/N‑MFP.
• Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented; able to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated drive to improve quality, accuracy, and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and authorization of fund filings including SEC Forms N-CSR, N‑1A support, 24f-2, and 17f‑2.
• Support other regulatory filings such as N‑MFP, N‑PORT, and N‑CEN.
• Lead and communicate with third‑party fund administrators on regulatory filings.
• Coordinate schedules with internal and external partners for filings you lead.
• Drive process improvements and automation with internal/external partners.
