Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant/Manager to oversee all fixed asset accounting activities across our U.S. brands.

The role drives accurate capitalization, monthly/quarterly close, and reporting, partnering with Brand Finance and FP&A to support forecasts and capital planning. You will lead a team of analysts, ensure internal controls, coordinate system upgrades, and serve as a knowledge expert on capital assets within ADUSA, helping achieve annual goals and improve

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting/operational experience.
• Deep understanding of capitalization rules per Global AD Accounting manual.
• Experience with SAP, Coupa, Service Channel and project systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the team of analysts responsible for fixed asset accounting across U.S. brands.
• Oversees fixed asset activities such as additions, retirements, impairments, divestments, and transfers.
• Ensures accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and reporting for all U.S. Brands.
• Partners with Brand Finance and FP&A to support budgeting/forecast for fixed assets.
• Maintains internal controls and adherence to IFRS accounting standards and the AD manual.
• Leads system upgrades and capital assets process improvements.
