Job summary

Delek US Holdings seeks a Manager of Accounting-Fixed Assets & Lease to lead the Fixed Asset and Projects accounting team. The role requires delivering accurate US GAAP reporting, asset capitalizations, and close processes while partnering with operations and IT.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and strong communication skills. Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proficient with Fixed Assets & Projects in ERP.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multitask and meet multiple project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, develop and coach the Fixed Assets team to ensure strong talent.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting of Fixed Assets, Projects, Leases in US GAAP.
• Ensure all fixed asset additions have meaningful descriptions, tags, life attributes and proper type classification.
• Prepare and validate monthly roll-forwards, asset addition and disposal reports and other monthly/quarterly reports.
• Supervise fixed asset reconciliations and standardize reconciliation methods across teams.
• Adhere to Capitalization Policies and apply relevant accounting frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including operations, IT, tax, SEC accounting, shared services.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time and improve asset close processes.
• Facilitate Internal & External Audit requests and SOX controls.
• Note: role may include additional tasks as needed.
