About the Senior Manager, Event Production Position:

Agency 21 (a21) is seeking an organized team player with a passion for the events and hospitality industry to join our Event Production team! The ideal candidate has strong communicationskills, both oral and written, is able to adapt on the fly, prioritize and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who can help lead a project from ideation to execution. This position offers tremendous growth opportunities within a full-service event management, sponsorship and marketing agency that specializes in culinary arts, sports and entertainment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support and lead end-to-end planning and production for assigned events from initial concept and ideation through onsite execution and post-event reconciliation
  • Build and maintain all event-related tracking materials in Monday.com including timelines, vendor contacts, run of show assignments, and other necessary boards
  • Coordinate spending, rentals, talent, and vendor costs in alignment with the Executive Producer owned budget; must have a strong understanding of the financial picture to make smart, real-time decisions without exceeding scope
  • Lead communication within internal departments, clients, sponsors, talent, and vendors
  • Lead planning and production meetings for assigned projects, driving alignment across internal teams and external partners, helping ensure follow-through on action items and cross-team alignment
  • Build and manage event production tracking systems in Monday.com, including maintaining the overall project workspace and the related boards such as but not limited to AP/AR boards, Event Schedule, Signage & Creative, Credentials & Wristbands, Meeting Agendas & Notes, Run of Show and Project Event Week, and Project Event Timeline
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Partnership, Partnership Fulfillment, Accounting, and Marketing departments
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client and vendor relationships year-round, representing a21 with professionalism and care
  • Coordinate pre-event production and logistics for all assigned events including but not limited to: vendor communication, rental and disposable compilation and ordering, website, floorplan and layout development, entertainment and talent coordination and research
  • Execute onsite event setup and day-of operations including: supporting setup crew coordination, checking in deliveries, managing load-in and load-out, signage, registration, and working with culinary on talent
  • Assist in preparing and submitting all required city and state event permits in accordance with project deadlines and regulations
  • Ensure timely completion of all post-event deliverables including recap reports, vendor closeouts, and expense reconciliation support
Skills & Qualifications Needed
  • 4+ years coordinating meetings and/or events (500+ guests is a plus)
  • 4+ years managing client/vendor relationships.
  • 4+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with exposure to culinary events or hospitality operations
  • Office administration and operations experience
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and accountability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Experience with project management principles and tools; familiarity with Monday.com, Canva, Allseated or similar platforms preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for tracking, reporting, and communication
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the year (up to 40% including some nights and weekends)
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods during live event production
  • Education: Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree is a plus
