Elastic seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Security Endpoint Protections team, guiding engineers across Windows, macOS and Linux. You will shape the roadmap for visibility, prevention, and on-device ML while mentoring a globally distributed team that values candid feedback and collaboration.

You will drive machine learning efforts, ensure cross-platform parity, and engage with customers and partners to advance Elastic Security protections across endpoints.

Formación

• People-leadership experience managing senior technical individual contributors on a globally distributed team.
• Substantial hands-on security research experience before moving into leadership; analyzing TTPs and shipping protections.
• Deep OS internals knowledge in kernel and user mode, especially Windows; macOS/Linux close behind.
• Hands-on reverse engineering and malware analysis you have done yourself.
• Adversarial instinct to anticipate evasion before shipment.
• Clear written communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Thrives in a distributed, autonomous environment with customer protection focus.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate feature development.
• Ability to rotate across projects and collaborate across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team across endpoints and ML.
• Own the roadmap and drive delivery for protection engines across Windows/macOS/Linux.
• Connect team work to Elastic Security product with new detection and protection capabilities.
• Direct the team’s ML work including data quality and telemetry features.
• Drive cross-platform protection parity and engage with platform vendors.
• Represent the team at conferences and external engagements.
