Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Manager for the Security Endpoint Protections team to lead a globally distributed engineering group focused on kernel and user-mode protections across Windows, macOS, and Linux. You will guide research engineers, shape strategy, and mentor the team to deliver high-quality security features at scale.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, collaboration with product managers, and a strong focus on practical protection against real-world threats.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience as a security researcher before moving into leadership: analyzing attacker TTPs, building protections, and deploying software at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team across Windows, macOS, Linux environments.
• Own the roadmap and drive delivery of protection engines and visibility features.
• Connect team work to Elastic Security products to unlock new detection and protection capabilities for customers.
• Direct the team's machine learning efforts, including model development and data quality.
