Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Security Endpoint Protections team. You will guide a globally distributed group of engineers specializing in endpoint internals, prevention, and ML, owning the roadmap and delivery across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

You will mentor senior researchers, drive high-quality features on release timelines, and represent the team at conferences and with customers. A strong security research background and leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading senior technical individual contributors on globally distributed teams.
• Hands-on security research background in attacker TTPs and protections.
• Deep knowledge of Windows/macOS/Linux internals and OS security APIs.
• Hands-on reverse engineering and malware analysis experience.
• Ability to anticipate evasion and design for resilience.
• Clear written and executive communication skills.
• Comfort working in a distributed, autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team across endpoint internals, prevention, and ML.
• Own the roadmap and drive delivery for visibility and protection engines across endpoints.
• Connect team work to Elastic Security with shared planning and accountability.
• Direct the team's machine learning efforts, data quality, and telemetry features.
• Drive cross-platform protection parity across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Represent the team externally through conferences, customer engagement, and thought leadership.
