Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States seeks a senior leader to drive avionics software products within the Engines unit. You will own the lifecycle from development through qualification and rate production, ensuring cost-aware delivery and adherence to internal standards.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, hire and coach talent, and collaborate with Enterprise functions to meet program objectives. Strong leadership and communication are essential in this safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering or technical field; significant leadership experience acceptable in lieu of a technical degree.
8+ years in a relevant engineering field with avionics and/or embedded software product development experience.
3+ years of project management or managerial experience; strong cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

Manage project scope with cost-effective execution to meet program objectives and roadmaps.
Own lifecycle of avionics software from development to rate production and deployment.
Oversee people management, talent development, and HR-related processes.
