Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a hands-on avionics hardware engineer to own development and delivery of core avionics products across the lifecycle, from requirements to sustainment. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver flight computers, I/O units, embedded controllers, and related hardware for lunar vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in design, development, build, integration, test, or verification of avionics/hardware products.
• Experience leading hardware development lifecycle activities including requirements, design, build, test, verification, and release.
• Experience with digital, analog, or mixed‑signal hardware, including PCB design or electronic packaging.
• Strong hands‑on troubleshooting using lab test equipment and root‑cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and delivery of avionics hardware products across the lifecycle.
• Drive technical decisions, requirements decomposition, interface definition, and architecture activities.
• Plan and execute hardware integration, verification, qualification, and bench testing; troubleshoot test issues.
