Job summary

BDO USA seeks a Tax Senior Manager in Digital Tax Solutions to lead engagements across tax automation, data, process, and technology with national reach. You will market, network, and drive business development while assessing client tax departments end-to-end for automation opportunities across tax data, process, technology, and workforce.

The role covers proposal scoping, design, build, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support, including training and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics or Technology; Graduate degree preferred.
Eight or more years of experience with technology or tax systems; leadership experience preferred.
CPA, Attorney, EA or similar certifications preferred.
Strong knowledge of tax accounting and solution development concepts.

Responsibilities

Qualifies viability of prospective clients or projects and identifies opportunities to expand current business.
Leads planning or project delivery meetings including proposals and workshops.
Manages client expectations, requirements and scope for tax consulting projects.
Oversees project setup, billing, and budget; ensures on-time delivery within budget.
Drives development of internal standards, processes, and client communications.
