Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Manager in Digital Tax Solutions to lead automation initiatives for client tax departments and internal teams. You will deliver end-to-end engagements, from proposal and scoping to design, build, test, and deployment, while developing training and documentation for hand-off.

The role emphasizes marketing, networking, and business development across the U.S., with remote and on-site collaboration to optimize tax data, processes, technology, and workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related field required.
• Graduate degree preferred and may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Five+ years of experience with technology or tax systems preferred.
• Experience with ASC 740 tax accounting, consulting, or compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax automation projects from scoping through deployment and go-live.
• Develop and present proposals, business cases, and solutions for clients.
• Manage client expectations, budget, and staffing for engagements.
• Collaborate with Tax AI leadership and multiple offices across the firm.
• Provide training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
