Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager, Digital Tax Solutions, to lead client engagements focused on tax automation across data, processes, technology and workforce. You will manage engagements from proposal through design, build, test and deployment, and provide training and documentation at hand-off.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of tax systems, and the ability to develop client relationships, market opportunities, and participate in go-to-market activities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; focus in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Technology, preferred
• Graduate degree preferred
• Eight (8) or more years of experience with technology or tax systems, required
• Certification in CPA/Attorney/EA or similar preferred

Responsibilities

• Qualifies viability of prospective clients and identifies opportunities to expand current business
• Leverages business domain expertise to design customized technology and business solutions
• Understands full client tax function and develops strategies aligned with business objectives
• Leads planning or project delivery meetings including proposals and workshops
• Constructs work plans for tax consulting projects and directs team accordingly
• Manages client expectations and requirements
• Gathers client requirements, estimates fees, and prepares high level scoping and proposed solutions
• Drafts clear and compelling proposals and business cases
• Establishes internal standards and processes for the practice
• Communicates complex technical items clearly to audiences
