Job summary

Central Garden & Pet is seeking a Manager or Sr. Manager of Digital Analytics to lead the digital measurement strategy for Pet eCommerce. You will own data pipelines, build semantic models in PowerBI, and partner with business units to turn data into actionable insights across Kaytee, Nylabone, Adams, and more.

The role reports to the VP of eCommerce, Pet, balancing 60/40 between building and partnering, with 40% data engineering, 30% AI, and 30% analytics. Hybrid work from Schaumburg, IL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, data engineering, or commercial analysis, incl. 1 year leading others.
• Strong SQL and Python with ownership of end-to-end production data pipelines.
• PowerBI with semantic models, Power Query, DAX, incremental refresh, and security.
• Practical use of large language models in analytical work and validation.
• Retail/CPG/eCommerce fluency with familiarity of commercial decision processes.

Responsibilities

• Own our digital measurement baseline across sales, share, traffic, and media efficiency.
• Engineer data pipelines across retailer portals, retail media, POS, product data, and ERP.
• Publish the reporting layer as a product with governed PowerBI semantic models and versioned releases.
• Deliver reads that influence decisions: category/item performance, promotions, media efficiency, and incrementality.
• Apply AI to analytics work: automate recurring analyses and executive summaries with checks.
• Build and maintain scorecards evaluating content quality, AI retrieval share, and media incrementality.
• Manage and grow a Sr Digital Media Analyst and provide guidance to embedded analysts.
