Job summary

Central Garden & Pet Company is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst for eCommerce Media Performance to own reporting across Amazon, Chewy, Walmart, Target, and other retailers. You will translate data into actionable insights to optimize retail media investments and support cross-BU decision making.

The role blends eCommerce analytics with business finance, partnering with BU leaders and the Pet eCommerce team. This hybrid position requires strong SQL/Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex

Qualifications

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills; possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must have prior experience collecting, cleaning, validating, and joining data from various sources for dashboard development and analysis
• Prior experience with Meta Advertising Platform, Amazon Advertising and Amazon Marketing Cloud, Walmart Connect, and other digital marketing/media a plus
• Proven ability in working cross-functionally to achieve results
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence decision makers and indirect reports
• Ability to work independently with some direction; superior organizational skills
• Professional demeanor and integrity; works extremely well in teams
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; expert level Excel skills; Power Query; Power BI

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain standardized reporting on spend, ROAS, TACOS, and key retail metrics; deliver regular scorecards.
• Recommend budgets, keyword optimizations, and targeting strategies; identify high ROI placements.
• Partner with Finance to connect retail media spend to revenue and profitability; collaborate with digital shelf teams.
• Develop playbooks for campaign setup, reporting cadence, and optimization levers; train BU leads; manage retailer relationships.
