Job summary

Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead strategic projects from inception through completion, securing resources, budgets, risks, and changes to ensure profitability within the region.

You will guide data center and mission-critical projects with a focus on MV duct banks, substation feeds, and underground transmission. This role requires strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50% to project sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with MV duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution systems for data centers.
• Experience with project management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.).
• Ability to travel 50% to project sites across the US.
• Must possess a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and manage strategic projects/programs from inception through completion.
• Secure required resources and manage budgets, risks, and changes.
• Lead and communicate effectively to ensure project success and profitability within the region.
• Support data center and mission-critical projects focusing on MV duct banks and campus distribution.
