Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC seeks a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through inorganic and organic initiatives, including digital health, venture investments and emerging technologies. The role interfaces with Fresenius' management teams and global colleagues.

Regular travel to the U.S. headquarters is expected; the role supports a 10% target annual bonus and up to 15% travel, including international trips. Remote work is possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field is required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Comfortable/thrives in ambiguous/rapidly evolving situations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across all Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth; focus on nutrition, MedTech and biopharmaceuticals.
• Project management: lead and collaborate with functional leads and regional heads to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to support inorganic target prioritization.
• Manage internal strategic corporate portfolio analysis and recommendation of new business areas, target evaluations and scenario planning.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
• Manage strategic corporate projects through all phases from identification to execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces.
