Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager of Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive strategic growth across the corporate portfolio. The role focuses on inorganic opportunities, including due diligence, business case development, and board approvals, with involvement in digital health, venture investments, and emerging technologies.

Regular travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters is expected; remote work may be possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in BD, M&A, strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Demonstrated success in a complex, matrix organization.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Up to 15% travel, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, and companies/assets including startups for inorganic growth opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional work with stakeholders to deliver due diligence, business case, and board approvals.
• Prepare pitch documents to align management on inorganic targets and priorities.
• Manage portfolio analysis, target evaluation, scenario planning, and valuation activities.
• Present Fresenius Kabi as a preferred partner to external interfaces.
