Job summary

You will build strong media relationships, serve as a spokesperson, and partner with HR, Legal, Operations and Finance to translate complex strategic initiatives into clear messaging across channels and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with proven ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and communication channels
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities with ability to translate business strategy into actionable communication plans
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Proficiency in communication platforms, content management systems, and digital communication tools
• Strong analytical skills with experience measuring communication effectiveness

Responsibilities

• Strategic Communication Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Develop and implement comprehensive internal communications strategies that align with Kontoor Brands’ global business strategy and objectives
• Collaborate extensively across corporate functions including HR, Legal, Operations, Finance, and other departments to ensure coordinated support for all necessary internal communications
• Work closely with business leaders to understand priorities and translate complex strategic initiatives into clear, compelling internal messaging
• Partner with global teams to ensure consistent messaging across all markets and regions while supporting local communication needs
• Support change management initiatives through strategic communication planning and execution in partnership with relevant stakeholders
• Content Development & Writing Craft high-quality written communications including executive messages, company announcements, newsletters, intranet content, and presentation materials
• Ensure all internal communications maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and strategic alignment
• Channel Management & Optimization Oversee and optimize internal communication channels including intranet platforms, email communications, and virtual/in-person forums
• Analyze communication effectiveness through metrics, surveys, and feedback mechanisms
• Continuously improve communication processes and tools to enhance reach and engagement
