Job summary

PowerGrid Services is seeking a Communications Lead to develop and execute strategic internal and external communications across its organization. You will partner with executive leaders to translate complex topics into clear, audience-focused messaging and ensure brand alignment across all channels.

The role focuses on writing, storytelling, and providing leadership communications for employees, customers, media, and external stakeholders. Office-based in Charlotte, NC or Hartsville, AL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, internal communications, journalism, content development, or a related communications role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and coordinate enterprise communications across the organization.
• Develop communication plans, messaging frameworks, talking points, FAQs, and leadership communications.
• Create employee announcements, organizational updates, presentations, video scripts, intranet content, newsletters, and other communications.
