Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, ProServe Cloud Architects (PCAM) to lead 8–10 PCAs in North America, combining hands-on customer engagement with frontline people leadership.

The role partners across ProServe RVPs, AGS Sales, Delivery Teams, and Solution Architect leadership to accelerate cloud journeys while developing technical talent. The ideal leader thrives in ambiguity, champions collaborative culture, mentors engineers, and drives CSAT and engagement excellence

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 3+ years of people leadership experience
• 7+ years of technology sales, or 3+ years of management experience
• 10+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting Services, or 5+ years of senior leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Knowledge of IaaS cloud computing transition challenges
• Experience with consulting practice leadership as manager of managers with team size 50+ and P&L responsibility
• Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of 8–10 PCAs, fostering technical excellence and customer obsession
• Lead performance management, career development and 1:1 coaching
• Drive hiring, onboarding and retention to build a high-performing team
• Identify and develop future leaders and ensure team certification compliance
• Create an inclusive environment where PCAs can grow and learn from ambiguity
• Serve as hands-on technical and strategic advisor in complex customer engagements
• Build trusted relationships with customers and partners at executive level
• Act as escalation point for technical and commercial challenges
• Champion CSAT improvements across engagements
• Partner with PCA Managers to share best practices and maintain NAMER consistency
• Collaborate with NAMER leadership on regional strategy and initiatives
• Work with PAEs, Delivery Teams and AGS Sales for seamless handoffs
• Foster knowledge sharing and community of practice
• Track and improve KPIs: bookings, margin, CSAT
• Drive improvements in Engagement Velocity Acceleration and delivery readiness
• Ensure adherence to ProServe processes, tools, and quality standards
• A day in the life includes engaging stakeholders, guiding PCAs, aligning with PAEs, and continuous mentorship
