Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Manager, Professional Services Cloud Architects (PCAM) to lead a team of 8–10 ProServe Cloud Architects within North America. The role blends hands-on customer engagement with frontline people leadership, coaching PCAs through complex customer situations to drive successful outcomes.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, accelerate customers’ cloud journeys, and build a collaborative culture while developing technical talent and maintaining

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, or delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others, or working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of 8–10 PCAs, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Lead performance management, career development, and 1:1 coaching.
• Drive hiring, onboarding, and retention to build a high-performing team.
• Identify and develop future leaders; ensure team certification compliance.
• Collaborate with peer PCA Managers to share best practices and balance workloads.
• Engage with ProServe Account Executives, Delivery Teams, and AGS Sales for seamless handoffs.
• Drive Billable Bookings performance through team enablement and coaching.
• Monitor deal velocity and identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
