Job summary

BakerTilly International, a leading advisory, tax, and assurance firm, is actively seeking a Senior Manager for its CFO Accounting Advisory practice in Chicago. You will provide strong leadership, communication, project management, and team-building skills to guide engagements and drive client outcomes.

Collaborate with Financial Advisory Partners and other groups, review work products, and actively participate in client meetings and planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in a large accounting firm in audit, financial advisory or transaction services
• 5+ years’ supervisory experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field
• CPA certification required
• Demonstrated leadership, initiative and positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
• Advanced financial analysis and data-driven insights ability
• Ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to engage with senior client personnel and participate in executive briefings

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement oversight and ensure client satisfaction
• Be proactive in anticipating client needs and issues
• Schedule internal and external deadlines to meet delivery expectations
• Interact with senior levels of client organizations
• Develop business opportunities and win engagements through scoping and budgeting
• Build and maintain relationships across office and engagement teams
• Aim for profitability, proper staffing and risk management
• Lead by example to improve staff morale and development
• Participate in proposals and presentations for new engagements
• Contribute to attracting and developing staff and firm leadership
