Baker Tilly US in Boston is seeking a Senior Manager to join our CFO Accounting Advisory practice. You will provide leadership, project management, and client-facing guidance to solve finance and accounting challenges.

You will collaborate with partners, review work product, and help win engagements through scoping and budgeting, while mentoring junior staff and driving profitable delivery.

Qualifications

• Eight (8+) years' experience in a large accounting firm in audit, financial advisory or transaction service lines.
• Five (5)+ years’ of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Certified public accountant (CPA).
• Excellent organizational skills with multitasking abilities.
• Intermediate modeling and Excel skills with data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement oversight and client-facing activities to ensure satisfaction.
• Set profitability, billing and collection objectives for engagements.
• Manage complex engagements and high-visibility delivery with teams.
• Develop relationships with colleagues and client personnel across industries.
• Mentor staff and contribute to staff development and retention.
• Participate in proposals and presentations leading to new engagements.
