Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development - Airborne Comms (Remote) to fuel growth of airborne communication solutions across military and government markets. You will partner with program management and engineering leadership to shape capture strategy, strengthen customer relationships, and pursue strategic opportunities in a highly regulated environment.

A strong background in defense communications and DoD concepts is required, with the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in military, government, or defense electronics industries.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance.
• 10+ years of experience in military, government, or defense electronics roles.
• Strong background in U.S. DoD CONOPS and airborne communication systems.
• Experience with PMA-209, OPNAV and related organizations preferred.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development - Airborne Comms (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will drive growth for airborne communication solutions across military and government markets, with a focus on identifying new opportunities and strengthening customer relationships. The position partners closely with program management and engineering leadership to shape capture strategy, assess competitive dynamics, and support long-term business expansion. Success in this role will require strong knowledge of defense communications, market trends, and cross-functional execution in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $132,400 – $251,600 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program management and engineering leads to capture new business in military airborne communication
