Job summary

Metso seeks a Senior Manager, Product Sales Support, Bulk Automation Technology NCA to join our Technical Product and Sales Support team. You will provide specialized technical sales support and lead solution development for Bulk Material Handling opportunities, managing the sales process and delivering customer-focused solutions.

Reporting to Sales Leadership, the role involves flexible hybrid work, up to 70% travel across North & Central America, and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering is required.
• 4–6 years of experience in technical sales or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of bulk material handling equipment and mining industry.
• Experience with engineering design principles, supplier evaluation and risk management.
• Excellent communication and ability to work across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support sales activities for designated service offerings and technologies.
• Act as Solution Lead on sales cases based on expertise and needs.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure alignment and execution.
• Conduct site surveys and assess customer requirements for tailored solutions.
• Drive value co-creation with customers to strengthen relationships and adoption.
• Manage sales cases from lead through proposal and negotiation, ensuring profitability.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitors and best practices.
• Coach and train market area sales teams on service offerings and solutions.
