Job summary

Gulfstream in Mesa, AZ seeks a Service Center Operations Senior Manager to lead our critical maintenance operations, ensuring FAA compliance and timely aircraft readiness. You will coordinate hangar activities, manage labor budgets, and drive safety and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

Reporting to the Service Center leadership, you will supervise teams, optimize schedules, and partner with customers to meet expectations while maintaining cost margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in aviation maintenance or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 years aircraft maintenance experience including 4 years in-service maintenance on large or mid-size cabin aircraft.
• 6 years of supervisor experience in aviation maintenance or related role (or 4 years with a Masters to offset 2 years).
• Position Purpose: Provide management and direction for assigned Product Support Service Center area to ensure aircraft maintenance meets customer, FAA, and cost/margin requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer scheduling with PS scheduling group to ensure competitive downtimes within the Service Center capacity and manage labor hours to meet budgets.
• Coordinate hangar operations to achieve labor efficiency and meet schedules; instruct subordinates on resources, methods, and procedures; maintain FAA standards.
• Meet with customer representatives to discuss progress and problems.
• Administer corporate and personnel policies; appraise performance for next level.
• Supervise a continuous safety program in hangar area including equipment operation and housekeeping.
• Support Lean Six Sigma initiatives and participate in improvement efforts.
• Oversee training of employees to ensure awareness of company policies and regulations.
