Job summary

Mente Group is launching a brand-new Flight Department in the Southern Bay Area, CA, operating a large-cabin Gulfstream (G700). We seek an Aircraft Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activities, scheduling, and supervision of company or vendor personnel.

The role includes heavy emphasis on FAA compliance, training (RII, airworthiness release), and meticulous documentation. Occasional travel and flexible hours may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) is required.
• Gulfstream experience is mandatory; G500+ preferred.
• Experience leading corporate/private aviation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and aircraft service changes.
• Oversee maintenance scheduling and monitor vendor performance.
• Train staff on RII, airworthiness release, and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure accurate paperwork and reporting for FAA compliance.
• Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance on policies and procedures.
• Travel as needed; support safety management and audits.
