Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a capable Repair and Overhaul Shop Lead in Texas. You will coordinate MRO tasks, lead shop personnel, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while driving process improvements and lean initiatives.

Responsibilities include scheduling, manpower assignment, and cross-unit collaboration to resolve issues and maintain production schedules. FAA regulations adherence and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; FAA A&P license or ability to obtain repairman certificate within 30 days.
• 7 years of aircraft maintenance/aviation experience required.
• Must read, interpret, and follow maintenance and regulatory documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all tasks in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul shops and provide daily status to management.
• Plan, schedule, and arrange completion of tasks to meet MRO schedules.
• Lead shop personnel and ensure compliance with FAA Repair Station requirements and 6S/Lean initiatives.
• Provide input to performance appraisals and drive continuous improvement.
