Job summary

EY is seeking a senior architect to shape the shared foundation connecting enterprise information and AI knowledge. You will own the knowledge, retrieval, and grounding capabilities used by EY's AI products and agents, driving architecture, interfaces, and governance across diverse teams.

You will lead lighthouse implementations from prototype through production, collaborate with security, privacy, records, and legal teams, and define service objectives and observability to keep knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 9–12+ years of relevant experience in data, information, or platform architecture.
• Experience delivering shared knowledge, search, or grounded AI capabilities.
• Hands-on depth with semantic, graph, or retrieval tech and strong SQL.

Responsibilities

• Set the knowledge direction and define architecture, roadmap, and principles for AI knowledge and grounding.
• Design a federated memory with durable interfaces and lifecycle expectations.
• Translate business questions with domain experts to support AI interpretation.
• Shape ingestion patterns preserving authority, lineage, and uncertainty.
• Build retrieval with search, semantic, graph, and structured methods and show trade-offs.
• Ensure evidence is inspectable with citations and provenance.
• Embed policy with security, privacy, and retention rules in the retrieval path.
• Lead lighthouse implementations from prototype to production for scale.
• Define service objectives and observability to keep capabilities reliable.
• Create reference components and mentor engineers and stakeholders.
