Job summary

Bon Secours in Mechanicsville, VA seeks a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee the mammography department, ensure MQSA compliance, and coordinate accreditation and patient care. You will manage equipment, staff, and service quality to support high standards in imaging and safety.

This role requires ARRT diagnostics, mammography registration, and at least two years of mammography experience; EPIC/PACS experience is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a registered mammography technologist (required).
• Two years' experience as a lead radiologic technologist (preferred).
• AR R T certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• Advanced modality registration in Mammography, ARRT (required).
• State licensure (preferred).
• BLS (required at hire for specific locations; see posting)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all operations related to mammography services (scheduling, safety, patient care, equipment maintenance).
• Safely performs all mammographic procedures and imaging.
• Oversees MQSA inspections, ACR accreditation, Quality Control, Physicist surveys, equipment maintenance, staff education.
• Maintains staffing levels to meet workflow; manages attendance and tardiness.
• Supervises Mammography Technologists and students.
• Coordinates breast health care needs and patient education.
