Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist for Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA. The role leads the mammography department, standardizes procedures, ensures MQSA compliance, and supervises technologists and students.

The position requires ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification, Mammography registration, BLS, and at least two years in mammography with lead radiologic technologist experience. A on-site role with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology certification required.
• Advanced modality registration in Mammography required.
• State licensure preferred; BLS required at hire for some locations.
• Two years of mammography experience; two years as lead radiologic technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the mammography department.
• Maintain MQSA compliance and organize accreditation activities.
• Oversee staffing and supervise Mammography Technologists and students.
• Coordinate patient education, scheduling, and safety practices.
• Ensure equipment maintenance, QC, and staff training.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
