Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience, preferably in mammography.
• Experience in management or leadership is preferred.
• Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Select and set up mammography equipment according to specifications.
• Train and assist staff with imaging technology applications.
• Manage department supply inventory and schedules.

Skills

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Knowledge of radiology equipment

Skill in troubleshooting equipment problems

Ability to lead and motivate others

Strong oral and written communication skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology

Commonwealth of Virginia Radiologic Technologist License

Current ARRT certification
