Job summary

Bon Secours seeks a Lead Mammography Technologist to manage the day-to-day operations of the mammography department at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA. You will standardize procedures, ensure MQSA compliance, and oversee accreditation and staff performance.

You will coordinate scheduling, safety, and patient care, perform mammography procedures, and educate patients while maintaining equipment and records.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a registered mammography technologist (required)
• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• Advanced modality registration in Mammography, ARRT (required)
• State Licensure preferred where required
• BLS from American Heart Association (required at hire for certain locations)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all operations related to mammography services and scheduling
• Perform mammographic procedures and imaging
• Oversee MQSA inspections, ACR accreditations and QC programs
• Maintain staffing levels and supervise technologists
• Educate patients and coordinate breast health education and financial assistance
