Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior malware reverse engineer to lead static and dynamic analysis across Windows and Linux. You will reverse engineer complex samples, extract IOCs and C2 patterns, and translate findings into actionable detections for security operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of malware reverse engineering or related cyber analysis roles.
• Minimum 8 years: static and dynamic malware analysis in Windows/Linux.
• Minimum 6 years with advanced reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra) and 3+ years with debugging/binary analysis tools.
• Minimum 5 years: analysis of packed/obfuscated malware and bypassing anti-analysis techniques.
• Minimum 4 years in low-level code (assembly) and 5+ years in tooling in C/C++ or Python for malware analysis.
• Minimum 4 years extracting/reconstructing C2 protocols and infrastructure artifacts.
• Minimum 4 years tracking malware behaviors and TTPs of advanced actors.
• Minimum 4 years developing detection content (YARA/Snort/Sigma).
• Minimum 3 years reproducing or assessing disclosed vulnerabilities.
• Minimum 3 years serving as technical quality reviewer.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer complex malware to uncover behavior, infrastructure, and adversary tradecraft.
• Translate findings into high-fidelity detection logic for SOC use cases.
• Support incident response during critical events and provide QA over analyses.
• Mentor senior analysts and raise engineering depth of the team.
• Deliver concise, risk-based leadership communications when needed.
• Travel may be required (0–100%).
