Job summary

Black Eagle Defense is seeking a Reverse Engineer III to analyze malicious binaries through controlled execution or static analysis, uncovering functionality, call-backs, and IOC indicators. You will support attribution to adversary infrastructure and contribute to detection signatures and mitigation guidance.

The role requires deep expertise in malware reverse engineering, C++, networking, and assembly language, with experience in TTPs and industry-standard tools.

Qualifications

• Proficient in analyzing malicious binaries and static assembly analysis.
• Familiar with indicators of compromise (IOCs) and APT analysis.
• Experienced in malware detection and signature creation using YARA and SNORT.
• Skilled in identifying areas of risk within target environments and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledgeable in C++, computer networking, and assembly language.
• Advanced degrees with years of relevant malware reverse engineering experience.
• Certifications CISSP, GIAC GREM, CREA are required.
