Job summary

AnaVation LLC is seeking a talented Malware Reverse Engineer to support National Security missions in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. You will analyze malware, reverse-engineer binaries, and produce intelligence reports for military intelligence mission support.

The role requires strong experience with C/C++, Python, IDA Pro or Ghidra, and familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK. On-site work with a US citizen clearance is required, offering career growth and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Four or more years in a Reverse Engineering role.
• Four years with C/C++ and Python; strong assembly and architecture knowledge.
• Proficient in static/dynamic reverse engineering techniques.
• Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, Hopper, Binary Ninja, Frida, PE Explorer, objdump.
• Familiar with malware behavior tools like Wireshark and sandboxing.
• Ability to write detailed technical reports and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface, dynamic, static, manual, and automated malware analysis.
• Reverse-engineer compiled code to understand interactions and behavior.
• Evaluate malware capabilities and threat potential for intelligence reports.
• Collaborate with intelligence professionals to interpret threat intents.
• Provide technical expertise on hardware/software environments for analysis.
